Cindy Lee Miller Sheehan (born July 10, 1957) is an American antiwar activist whose son, U.S. Army Specialist Casey Sheehan, was killed by enemy action during the Iraq War.

Casey Austin Sheehan (May 29, 1979 – April 4, 2004) was a specialist in the United States Army who was killed by enemy action while serving in the Iraq War. He was the son of Patrick Sheehan, a sales representative, and Cindy Sheehan.

Does anyone know the origin of the place name “Shene Avenue” in the town of Bundoran? The word Shene could be associated with Sheehan but this may be coincidental or related in some way with the Irish word meaning of peace or peaceful.
